Terms of use

1. Membership

Membership is open to businesses, professionals and individuals approved by chapter leadership. Members must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Each chapter limits members per category; seats are allocated at PBN Connect's discretion.

2. Referrals and referral fees

Members declare referral fees on their products and services. When a referred lead results in a sale, the seller agrees to pay the giver the declared fee on the actual pre-tax deal value, within 15 days of receiving payment from the client unless otherwise agreed. Members must record referred deals honestly, including invoices and credit notes. A prospect registered by a giver with a seller is locked to that giver for 90 days.

2A. Platform fee

For every deal a member wins through the network (referrals, lead marketplace, requirement board and members-only deals), the seller pays PBN Connect a platform fee of 2% of the pre-tax deal value plus applicable GST, within 15 days of the deal closing. PBN Connect issues a tax invoice for each fee. The fee is recalculated if the deal value is reduced by a credit note before payment. Members with a platform fee overdue by more than 45 days stop receiving new leads until it is paid.

3. Prospect consent

A member may refer a prospect only with that prospect's consent to be contacted. Members must use prospect data only to serve that prospect.

4. Conduct

Members must respond to leads within 24 hours, attend chapter meetings or send substitutes, and treat other members, prospects and customers professionally. Spam, poaching of other members' clients, fake reviews and misrepresentation are not allowed.

5. Disputes

Disputes between members are mediated first by chapter leadership, then regional leadership and PBN Connect HQ. PBN Connect may suspend members who repeatedly fail to pay referral fees or breach these terms.

6. Fees and renewal

Membership fees are payable annually after any free trial. Unpaid memberships enter a grace period, after which the member is hidden from the directory, and later the seat is released. See the Cancellation and refund policy.

7. Platform and content

Members are responsible for the content they publish, including their micro-website, prices and reviews they reply to. PBN Connect provides the platform "as is" and is not a party to transactions between members and their customers.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PBN Connect's liability is limited to the membership fee paid in the 12 months before a claim. PBN Connect is not liable for the quality of goods or services supplied by members.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Mumbai having jurisdiction, unless a country-specific entity's terms apply.
